chances of a false positive?

So what's the chances of a false positive? Considering I'm 3 days late, which I've never been late prior and I haven't been on BC in 4 years.....

Also, should I wait until I see an MD before telling family? 🤔🤔🤔

2 different brands gave you a positive....it isn't false lol. Congrats! You can tell your family whenever. There is no right or wrong time.

It's very very very rare for a at home test to be a false positive.

This was my test back in July. This was 5 days exactly before my missed period. I ended up bleeding a week after before I could make it to my doctor, and she said it was a very very very early miscarriage which is really common. I'd wait to see a doctor to confirm and then tell people. But congratulations it looks like a really great positive, mine was faint and early.

It's sometime good to hear a heartbeat before telling family but also depends on your family. I told my mom pretty early on with our first with our second we've waited bc our first was only 4 months when we conceived the 2nd and I think I've been in a disbelief fog.

Here is my first false positive! It can happen; I had testing done 3 weeks ago and seen my ob last week regarding the tests... I have no problem's and everything came back normal! It's not an evap because there is color, I missed my period the 16th got a positive test then started bleeding the next day. It's not a miscarriage because there are no clots or different colored blood, you're looks like a real positive congratulations!!
