You really don't see anything until 7 or 8 weeks. It could be scary going before 8 weeks because you might not see a heartbeat yet. Most people have their first at 12 weeks

I'm having my first one at 6 weeks 3 days. My doctor has been really attentive, especially since we were just referrred to a fertility specialist the week before. Then, come to find out, I was pregnant.

Depends on the doctor. Some don't until anywhere from 8-12 weeks. They should, however, be drawing hcg blood levels to make sure they are rising appropriately. It's hard to determine viability or even seeing anything visible when you aren't far along. But your doctor will decide!

I was scheduled for one at 12 weeks but when I went in I was actually 13 weeks along. My midwife gave me the choice on if I wanted one that early and my last one was at 20 weeks and that's it for me!
