I believe so, maybe not as much as we have now, but I strongly believe men and women are different..

Answer

Nope. Men can do what women do. Women do what men do. Sex doesn't change that, except biological abilities. Gender doesn't change anything either. Society has a concept of mascuine/feminine/gender sterotypes but that only really took hold in the 60s as a marketing ploy. Before then they had roles but if a situation happened where the roles were switched it was no big deal.
