High HCG and Progesterone at 18 DPO

I've been searching this app for someone else who has experienced this, but to no avail. I had a m/c at 19dpo last cycle, November 17th. Tested out my HCG to make sure it was going down, and got a few completely negative tests 4 and 5 days later. Last Wednesday, December 14th, at 11 dpo, I got a clear, but not extremely dark positive. Definitely not a questionable positive. I continued testing every day and compared every 48 hours to make sure the test were getting darker. At 17 dpo, the test line was as dark as the control line. I started spotting light pink mixed with some clear, stretchy cm, which freaked me out because of the m/c last cycle. So, my midwife ordered bloodwork yesterday at 18 dpo, and again tomorrow at 20 dpo. She called today with my results from yesterday and my HCG is 3343, Progesterone 38. She didn't seem concerned, but after researching, both of those are high for where I am. And I'm certain of my dpo because I was charting my bbt. Has anyone else experienced super high HCG and Progesterone? Is it good or bad or normal? Could it indicate twins? Any replies would be greatly appreciated!
