If he is uncomfortable about it in any way, I wouldn't do it. And don't try to do it without him knowing. This will just give him reason to distrust you if/when he finds out. 
In my relationship, it wouldn't be okay. For either of us. But that is just us. Other people have different perceptions of what is okay and not okay in their relationship. You won't know until you ask him.

I haven't responded to the poll because I think that's something you should discuss with your boyfriend. What if he found out - how would he feel? Some might consider it cheating and it could hurt him a lot. He might be totally fine with it and if so then yeah go ahead.

Maybe the situation should be better explained. I have a great job, but with part-time hours I'm making barely enough to survive. Yes, overtime would normally be my option, but due to my injury(Doctor says I need physio), my work is only required to give me my scheduled hours, nothing more. 
My boyfriend has been my best friend for 10 years, so this is something I'd definatly  discuss with him before anything. 
I'm just very stressed with my financial situation, and I'm not a girl who'd normally do things the easy way... if anything, video game streaming? It takes too long to build up a fan base though >. <
