Feeling like a mom for the first time
I weeped the whole time during the ultrasound today. At 12 weeks, I finally feel like I'm going to be having a baby. The first transvaginal ultrasound was just a flicker of white and black but it was so good to know that amidst all the sickness and fatigue, my baby was growing steadily and had developed active limbs and a cute belly.
I can't describe how happy I am. This is my first child so the whole experience has been so wild for us - I can't wait to find out the gender next week.
I keep catching my husband secretly peeping at the ultrasound photos again. I think we are both smitten with the little one!
I'm going to be a mom!!!
