I was sure I was carrying a girl and had all these worries and fears about when she got older. And now that I know I'm having a boy I feel differently. Less overprotective if that makes sense?

Its just how media has us programmed we fear for our daughter because we know how they will be treated and objectified while boys have an easier time with acceptability and all that

You may change your mind when he gets here. My my first son was born I was INSANELY protective. I barely even wanted my husband to hold him! Haha.
