My husband and I got into a HUGE fight. I spent most of the last night in tears. This morning he says I always treat him like shit. I know I'm not perfect, but I don't think I'm that bad. He said he hated me. He told me I needed his permission to take our daughter to my family for Christmas. He left me wondering all night if I would be able to spend Christmas with my family. He's sleeping in the guest room now. He agreed to go with me to my family, but this is our worst fight ever. I don't know what to do.

Unless you're taking your kid over state lines when he specifically told you not to, you have every right to spend time with your kid and go wherever you want. Even then, unless y'all have custody papers there is no reason you can't take her to go see your family. Your husband is being a dick, and using a child to try to control you is pretty damn low of him. 😠

Communication. Communication is important. Sit down and apologize and then ask him what exactly you do that makes him feel like you treat him like shit. Whatever comes out of his mouth at that point remain calm and listen. Figure out ways you two can make your marriage work for the sake of your children and find ways you can change a few things about yourself that bother him. Marriage is about compromise to. We have to change sometimes to make it work. My friend always told me never go to bed upset at one another. Make that your main goal and things will be easy. My husband and I will fight and we make up within 5 mins. You can't hold onto things it makes matters worse.

Have you tried apologizing yet? Ask him what he feels you need to fix within yourself so that he feels more respected and say it just like that. Don't get defensive when he tells you what he thinks just take it  with a grain of salt and really evaluate what he's saying and feeling. I have a spicy tongue sometimes and don't realize it until I ask my husband what I said that hurt him. Hopefully that helps him feel differently towards you. 😐 wish you the best!
