Need some help y'all

Okay so my boyfriend and I are in a LDR and so we obviously don't get to do much if anything together. But he downloaded this game that lets you play with other people. He told me to download it so we can play it together and so I did. Only problem is that I don't know what the hell im doing. And I know he wants me to play so we can do it together but guys I'm absolutely lost in this game, I don't know what to do or how to play it so like f y'all have this game Mobile Legends and it has some girl in the front can you help me out? Like what's the point and object of this? He tries to explain it but bless his heart he can't put it into lame enough terms for me. The first time I played it I was out in with some other people and I panicked after I "died" like twice and quit the game haha. I'm lame.
