I was 39w1d, went in for my weekly checkup and she stripped my membrane. Within a half hour contractions were starting, we're 5 mins apart then went to 2 mins apart. I drove home about 25 mins away, got home and husbamd could tell I was in labor. We got in the car and drove to the hospital, I was at the hospital 1 hour 7 mins when baby Alyssa was born, total I was in labor for 3.5 hours and pushed for 7 minutes.
