Did your cycle go back to "normal" following miscarriage?

How typical is it to experience an irregular cycle after mc? I got AF 27 days after induced miscarriage (typical to my 28 day cycles) so I was stoked that body was regulating. Today, on cd19, I think I started AF again. What in the world?! Is this normal? I'm praying my body goes back to normal soon...😢😢😢 How sad...was so excited to start trying again.

UPDATE: it WASNT AF! Lasted 12 hours (brown then dark red-NOT enough to fill a tampon) and then dwindled out to trace amounts of light pink spotting! Could it have been implantation bleeding? Guess I'll have to wait to find out.

My first miscarriage it sprung right back into rythm but my second made my cycles irregular. I'm hoping they're back to normal now though because my last cycle was 25 days which is normal for me. Fingers crossed!

I miscarried in June, got my first period four weeks later, and it finally regulated two months ago. Everyone is different though.

I waited until after 3 cycles and then started trying. I didn't get pregnant that first month, but the second month of trying I got pregnant. Now at 8w4d

I was the same way, had a miscarriage in August and was excited when my period returned 25 days after, my typical cycle is 25-26 days so I thought I regulated pretty quickly! My next period didn't come until cycle day 30 though. But by the next cycle everything seemed to be back to normal! After 4 cycles I got pregnant again and am currently 4 weeks pregnant! Just give your body some time to get back to normal, it may take a little longer than you would like, but it will get there! ❤️

I had a miscarriage in March. Ever since my cycles have been 24-26 days and before they were usually 28 days sometimes they would be 29-30.  Today marks 28 days and still no AF and I'm only getting faint positives (or evaps) so I'm thinking my cycles may be returning to normal after 6 months.  Everyone is different

No. But I'm not sure what "normal" is since I conceived after one cycle off BC. Then my miscarriage was long and strung out. So I've only had 3 true periods since the miscarriage.

Turns out it wasn't AF! Lasted less than 12 hours and it's barely even there the next day.  Now my glow cycle chart is all messed up and I can't get it back to normal. Bummer.

I think everyone's body is different it will probably take a couple cycles to regulate again. Give it time your body gets very confused after a miscarriage.
