name dilemma....

My s.o wants to name our son after his grandpa who passed... I also have a grandpa whom I was not close to with the same name he insists we name baby this name. I have a name I love and he says he will call baby whatever he wants and I can call him what I want... it's so frustrating any tips?? I refuse to give my baby that name and when I ask him for another option he just gives me different spellings of the name 😑
