How did you find out you were pregnant?

So my girlfriends and I were all sharing stories about how we found out we were pregnant and I thought it'd be fun to hear some strangers. Me? I wasnt living with my spouse at the moment because we were both military and stationed in 2 different states, one night I had this crazy dream I was pregnant, but I knew I couldnt be because I was on birth control and had been since I was 16 (23 now) and had never had a slipup, despite that though I took a test anyways, I almost tossed it in the trash not reading it right and did a double take when I saw it actually said pregnant lol, I drove to walmart with my friend and took 8 more tests, not one of those things came out negative lmao I called my husband bawling my eyes out and sure enough he was all excited 😂 13 months later this beautiful little girl is our entire life❤

My husband and I were trying for a year and a half. I was expecting my period, was having PMS, even went and bought more tampons expecting my period to arrive. But then I realized my boobs were sore too, not a normal PMS symptom for me. A day or two later I decided to test and it was positive! I was a bawling mess because I was so happy! Took another test to confirm and told my husband soon as he got home from work that day. We waited a month to tell family, we announced with these shirts our older kids wore to Easter dinner. We now have a precious son who will be 9 weeks old tomorrow!

We had just moved to our very first duty station. We were in our home, but didn't have any of our home goods yet. Still living on loaner furniture which was horrid. Husband bought me a test at the store, saying "something is just telling me to get this" which was code for "you've been a lot bitchier than normal." So while I was cleaning the bathroom one night I realised it was 5 days before my period was due, so I could take the first response test he got me. 
I kept cleaning as the test developed and I did a double take when I looked and say it was positive. Then I called my best friend, laughing bevause I had no idea what to do and that's just how I respond to things.

Now my beautiful baby girl will be a month old tomorrow 😣😭😫❤

My boyfriend had been telling me there was something wrong with me and he wanted me to go to the dr. I refused and instead went on a road trip with one of my friends!! Well, she kept insisting I was pregnant so I finally agreed to take a test to shut her up. My positive was so strong it pulled the dye from the control line and I read it wrong. I thought it was a faint positive and a faulty test... took two more the next morning and there was no denying I was pregnant. My boyfriend was so excited and relieved (because he thought I was seriously ill) and now we have a gorgeous almost 14 month old.

We decided we wanted to start trying to conceive so I went off birth control. At the end of that first month off of it I felt awful and was thinking if every period off of hormones was this bad I didn't know what I was going to do. Then my bleeding didn't start, so I took a test on impulse in the middle of the night, even though I knew it was probably too early. But it was positive.

Husband and I had been "trying" for two months; pretty much I just didn't take BC and figured it would happen when it happened. I started having issues with cramping and feeling irritable and my boobs were really sore. We went out for dinner and I was complaining on the way home about feeling like crap and we weren't even pregnant yet and how I would still have 9 months of feeling crappy after we were pregnant!  10 hours later - peed on the stick and found out we were already pregnant lol.

Unfortunately it happened to be the weekend my husband was already signed up to go see a buddy of his. So I told him right after the positive test in the morning and then had to go to work and didn't see him for 3 days!

So my boyfriend was told it would be hard to have children. So that plus birth control I knew I wasn't pregnant. But my friend kept insisting that I was pregnant. I took a test to shut her up. It ( and the 10 others lol) all came back positive. Telling my boyfriend was nerve racking. But once I told him he said he had a feeling I was pregnant. And now we have a beautiful 6 month old baby

My husband and I had been trying for four months and two weeks after ovulating (and doing the deed A LOT in that time) I woke up with a definite feeling that I had caught but I started bleeding so shrugged it off. The bleeding stopped after one day so started thinking maybe that was implantation bleeding. I took a test and sure enough it was positive. I was only three weeks technically, so it was super early. In hindsight, I wish I'd waited until I missed my period as the extra few weeks of worrying made the first twelve weeks feel really long. 16 months later we have the most incredibly bright, funny, loving little girl. 😍

My son wasn't "planned" and I only took a test because my period was late. My husband didn't know I took it. I came out of the bathroom and said guess what I'm pregnant. His response was "this better not be a fucking joke, I need to take a walk" and he left lol came back 5 minutes later was happy! Funny thing is, my sister had just told my parents she was pregnant and I told them that night too. We ended up having the boys four day apart. 
With my daughter we got pregnant on our first "try" and I knew I was pregnant because I started to smell everyone's laundry detergent. Lol

My doctor told me I wouldn't get pregnant without fertility treatments because I have pcos and hypothyroidism. I went to my annual exam in January and the nurse practitioner walked in and told me I was pregnant. I was in total shock. I must have asked ten times "are you sure?" When my husband came back he thought I was going to tell him I had cervical cancer (I had high risk hpv.) Luckily the u/s tech was there and we immediately confirmed. My son will be 16 weeks tomorrow!

My husband and I decided we want to start trying about 8 months after getting married. (Together 6.5 years at that point) It took us three months. The day I got my BFP I was having all my normal PMS symptoms so I was angry we failed another month. But I had a few abnormal symptoms as well which I should've caught on to. I took the last test I had and literally said "Why not, I feel like getting depressed today." When it turned positive I freaked out and ran to my husband, he asked "Are you ok?!" I yelled "No!!!!!" and threw the test at him. He grabbed my shoulders and said "This is what you wanted!!!!!!" 😆 Then I had a semi hysterical freak out and he took me to the store to get more tests and got me Burger King.

I'm 35 weeks and trying to make it to 36, on bedrest for preterm labor with my first! She could arrive at any time and I'm still freaking out lol
