c section moms?

How long did your incision hurt? I'm 9 days post my first c section and it still hurts and am still relying on my pain pills, is that normal?

I was on my pain pills for about 2 weeks then advil for about another week.

That sounds totally normal! Mine hurt for a couple of weeks, and even now (5 months pp)  my incision has a little numb feeling. :)

I took the pain pills for 2 weeks and then the ibuprofen for about a week and a half after.. I tapered off the ibuprofen and took it when I felt like I needed it.. I'm 5 weeks postpartum now and feel pretty much normal.. still occasionally uncomfortable or random little shooting pains.. I can't wear anything tight yet!

A couple weeks it hurt bad enough for pain pills. After that it was ibuprofen fir a few weeks. I'm at 6 weeks pp now and it is still tender but not painful enough to need anything.

Mine only hurt for about 6 days and I was only taking the pain meds when I was really busy for another week after that. Honestly, being up and walking helps heal faster.

By 2 weeks I wasn't miserable anymore. By 5-6 weeks I didn't feel pain unless I did something out of th ordinary.

That's normal takes a couple weeks for it to not hurt badly. It will go to a mild soreness after that for awhile then it's just getting used to the sensitivity of the scare (mine took 6 months)

After 2 weeks I stopped taking my pain medication. I'm still sore, but it's bearable. And the skin in that area is tender and some of it is numb.

I was in pain pills for a week and just ibuprofen for another week. I'm 12 weeks post c section (my first) and sometimes my muscles are sore and if I get an ingrown hair or wear a tight panty or elastic on pants rub on that area it's uncomfortable.
