So it looks like we are going to be getting a puppy this week, currently in talks over when to pick her up. We've wanted a dog for as long as we've wanted a baby (probably around 2 years) but wanted to wait until we had a bigger place which we have now with baby on the way and decided now would be the best time as I will be off work until late summer. Getting her now would give us a few weeks with her before our baby arrives and gives plenty of time to house train her while I'm at home nursing a baby. Some people have said it's a lot to take on, a new born and puppy but what does you lovely ladies think? Do you think I'm stupid for wanting to balance the demands of a puppy and a baby? Too much poop to deal with? Haha
