any young moms??

Question

I'm 20 and 5 weeks pregnant with my first. Haven't told anyone  in my family yet because I'm extremely nervous and scared. I'm still in college so I really think my family (especially my dad) will be disappointed. How did you tell/going to tell your family?!

I got married in college to my high school best friend at age 20. Nine months later we were pregnant and I gave birth just a few months after our one year anniversary at 21. I am 23 and now pregnant with baby #2. I still graduated with my bachelors on time with a 3.9 GPA. And have a full time job in my field of study. If anything starting your adult life in college gives you that extra push and motivation to finish strong! With a lot of support and love you can achieve anything!!!

Congratulations! I'm 21 finished with school in June started working in July and have been with my boyfriend almost 3 years. I was super nervous to tell my family as well, we wrapped it as a gift that said "could be pink, could be blue, all we know is we are due" and our parents cried and were nothing but excited! I was 20 when I got pregnant and 20 when I had her, ALONE. I'm now 22 pregnant and I'll be 23 when the baby is here. It's amazing to be a young mother.

I'm 19 and just got married in September to my boyfrind of three years. We found out I was pregnant from our wedding night and I had a miscarrige at 6.5 weeks.  I'm now eight weeks pregnant with my rainbow baby and my family is extremely unsupportive that I didn't even wait for a period to get pregnant again.

I am 22 with my second baby . (I had a miscarriage) at first my dad was really mad at me and told my mom I had to leave UNTIL my mom told him about my HCG levels not rising and that the baby won't make it. He was supportive . I ended up pregnant again and he wanted to cry. Now he's very happy . Parents say that they'll kick you out or whatever but you will be fine .. he will be upset but he will get over it . I'm 25 with baby number 3 and I had my first at 20. My parents and family were pretty accepting of it since I had a job, my own place, and even moved out of state. Because we were out of state we did a phone call, then a video call to show them the ultrasound and announce it. They were pleased

They're still equally accepting now even though I'm in my last year finishing my college degree. But again, I'm also self-sufficient and I've been handling my other two kids quite well haha

Just be open and honest with them, keep working hard. Parents tend to be more accepting than you think! Telling my dad was the hardest mentally, even to today it's still harder haha

I'm 23 will be 24 in February. But I actually just told my parents on Christmas. They're extra excited as this will be there first grandbaby. My husband and I have been married for over a year so I think they were kind of expecting it within the next uear or so. Good luck and have a healthy 9 months!

22 7 weeks and I pretty much just open showed my mom the test she knew that I wasn't preventing it so it wasn't really a shocker and nothing negative she's been very supportive of me and my boyfriend
