Female Friends
Does anyone else find it hard to find and keep female friends?
I always feel like I'm putting forth effort to have female friends. I'll come up with days for us to hang out, we'll go out to lunch, go shopping, go get coffee, etc. It just either never works out or they just stop talking to me. I don't have that one female friend I can go to for advice or just girl talk. It kinda sucks but if that's how it is having female friends then idk if I'd ever want any.
My mom says it may because they're intimidated by me, but they honestly shouldn't be. I'm a football in an 18 year old body that's stumbling through life like the rest of us. I don't think I'm intimidating, my face is very inviting (that sounded better in my head).....I just don't know what to do. I want to have more female friends but I've done everything I can think of.
