It's been a hell of a ride!

Came to the hospital on December 23rd

Because I had lost my mucus plug and was having mild contractions.

My heart rate was 130 and my white blood cell count was 18

They couldn't seem to find the source of the infection so they send me home on December 24th and stated to keep counting the "contractions"

On December 25th, I started bleeding which the doctor said would be normal after an exam because of my cerclage.

Well I was filling up pad after pad but nothing was right red so it didn't concern me. I was still having contractions like no other though but they were not consistent.

December 26th, at 4 am I was bleeding heavily and then my water broke.

So now I knew I was in pre term labor (30 weeks)

When I got in they took out the cerclage said I was 5cm dilated but that I also had a uterine infection. They were going to try and speed up delivery but overall decided it was safer to do a C Section for me and baby since the infection was surrounding her as well.

Had my epidural, but the epidural was making my blood pressure tank. Went in for c section. My blood pressure held up. And they were able to clean out the infection.

So C section went amazing and I have my little girl! I haven't been able to see her yet because I am currently in the ICU but hoping tomorrow I will!
