Went to ultrasound appointment on the 21st. They sent me down to the p.e.t. unit because my lil bit decided to sleep for 40 minutes and wouldn't wake up long enough to do the breath in nj exercises for the appointment. They kept me all day and overnight to monitor her. Well during my stay they noticed I was having contractions, but I didn't feel anything, so the doctor checked me and discovered I was 1-2 cm dilated. She's said she'd come back later to check to see if I progressed any further, so they put me on an i.v. hours pass and she checks me again I'm still 2 cm dilated but my cervix had softened. Fast forward to the the next morning. Had another ultrasound done and Lil bit did her necessary movements and breathing exercises. My contractions had stopped so I was released. Since being released I've have loose bowel movements everyday, loss of some mucus everyday. My mommy area had swollen tremendously and I was walking funny for a few hours. Swelling has gone down since. But last night I felt uncomfortable trying to get some sleep. My stomach kept tightening on and off throughout the whole night. And this morning I went to use the bathroom, emptied my bladder but sitting there a few extra min burst of liquid kept coming out even though my bladder was empty. So joy! I think my water is leaking and my valentine's day baby will become a new years baby.! 33 weeks btw.
