mental health care

Am I the only one who is discouraged by how little healthcare covers towards mental health? At least for me, our insurance literally covers almost nothing for a mental health clinic & it so irritating. I know I can't be the only one & therapy is sooo expensive, even the ones that claim to be "adorable." There's no doubt mental illnesses are on the rise, so why isn't there any advocacy for healthcare to cover mental clinics and hospitals? Or more of it? If there's something I'm missing please tell me because I'm not gonna lie - I'm not the most educated on politics & what's going on. This was just something on my mind that I'd like to hear others opinions on.
