taking off your rings?

Has anyone taken off their rings expecting swelling hands so they don't get stuck? Or are you planning on it? What point do you think makes sense? 💍 💍 💍

Soon as mine felt snug I took them off and just bought cheap ones to wear til after I gave birth. Sadly mine still don't fit so we got them resized.

I took mine off early, first trimester. I wear my wedding ring on a necklace but my engagement ring I put way. I have problems wearing things near my neck when prego so both rings was just too much. I didn't want to risk having to have it cut off.

Yes, I took mine off in first trimester to avoid problems. Took 2 months after birth to get them back on....

My swelling fluctuates so I just take them off as needed.

I bought a similar but fake set half a size up for wearing when swelling; I started swelling at 35w.

I took mine off, but I had to use a lot of soapy water cause I waited too long. I was afraid of having to get them cut off but right after I had the baby I was able to put them back on again

I had an emergency csection and they almost considered cutting mine off before going to the OR. I was not with it but thankfully my mom and husband had enough sense to soap up my hands in order to remove the rings.
