Miscarried at 5 weeks exactly. Hgc lab level from 2 days before that was only 18 so it wasn't meant to be. I've bled for 6 days now, started as heavy and fresh and now it's nearly done and clearly old dark blood. Negative home pregnancy test now. I've read on parents com I think that an early pregnancy loss (chemical pregnancy 5 weeks or less) doesn't require waiting to TTC or checking up with ob unless something seems unusual. On the other hand, I've read where individual obs have suggested they wait a cycle or two. I'm 40, TTC our second so I'm not keen on waiting. But with old blood, anyone know if it's okay to start trying again? Any success stories to keep me hopeful?
