growth scan?

Hiya,

I went to see my midwife this morning and she measured me the same as 3 weeks ago and has now booked me in for a scan tomorrow im sick with worry, has anyone else had one of these and can reasure me what could this be. I am 35 weeks measuring 31cm same as week 31

Honestly wouldn't panic
My bump has been measuring above the top line right throughout my pregnancy
I had a growth scan and my baby is perfectly normal size and when plotted on the graph was bang on the middle line
You should note that when they measure your bump it is just a guide and the graph is made up from your height, weight etc. 
I am only 5ft 2in so my bump does look big on me...but in reality isn't.

I'll be honest.

My doctor said any baby that comes across him measuring 3 weeks small/behind or showing no improvement from the last visit/ultrasound will be sent across the street to the Hospital to be delivered ASAP!

I am also going through baby measuring small but it went from 2 Weeks to a week & a half and she's up some ounces so my doctor is okay with that.

You'll also notice the midwife will plot using the left hand side numbers
When you go for a growth scan they will plot using the right hand side numbers

A growth scan is exactly the same as a normol ulstrasound scan except they measure the baby more in depth. I have had severe hyperemesis and chrohns disease flared up and at 30 weeks my boy was not growing accordingly so i had to go on ateriod injections. Hes since put on weight brilliantly and last scan was 6lb im 39+1 and having csection tmrw eeeekkkk lol. You may have interuterine growth restriction or just carrying a small baby. Pray all goes well x
