More tests, more appointments, & more money later - the fertility doctor has told me that I have unexplained infertility. All of my tests are normal, & after my husband retested, his are normal as well. The MD discussed options with us & has said that he recommends starting clomid. Next month I am to go in & repeat some of the tests before they can prescribe the med as it is too late this cycle to start it. He says I will need to come in each month & they will not prescribe more than 3-6 months total since the probability of conceiving after that is very low. I am relieved that I do not have any medical "abnormalities" but at the same time am wondering why I am not getting pregnant. We have tried everything! Trying to stay relaxed & calm.
