No shift in BBT yet?

Question

Have you ever had a positive OPK and not ovulated, according to your BBT? I ovulated yesterday, but. my bbt only went up .10 degrees Celsius since then. Ive read that it should go up at least .20, and all of the example charts I looked at showed a big spike.

This is the first time I've got a positive OPK since I'm breastfeeding, and I'm nervous that I didn't ovulate like I hoped 😞

You ideally need to track from the beginning of your cycle to notice such changes. My temp increase happens 2 days after I get positive OPK result so you might find it happens tomorrow!

So far no sign of ovulation on your chart but it can come up to 48 hrs after positive OPK so may still come tomorrow or the day after. Make sure to temp at the same time every day first thing in the morning before getting out of bed. Also not sure what OPKs you are using but with the cheapie one you can test again after positive to see if it looks like it is returning to negative.

There's no enough data yet. It's important to temp from the beginning of your cycle. You also need a bbt thermometer. Fever thermometers aren't accurate enough.
