Baby girl is finally here!!!
My little girl did not want to make her appearance on time, in true diva fashion! At 40 weeks and 5 days I was scheduled to be induced! Got to the hospital at 5:30am, waited forever, and they finally got me back to a room and started the pitocin drip at 8:00. The dr came in at 9 and checked me, 3 cm, and broke my water immediately. The contractions came so fast it kind of shocked me! After 30 minutes of enduring contractions I opted for an epidural (more power to the women that birthed without it)! At 10:30 I started feeling some pressure, was checked and told I was at 6cm! As the nurse walked out of the room I felt an overwhelming urge to push! I called her back in to check me even though she just had, at 10:41 I was already 10 cm! In a matter of minutes I dilated 4 cm! Even the nurse didn't believe me at first until she checked! I began pushing for 10 minutes then the dr came in and at 11:09 am my baby girl Zoe Jaide was born! 4 hours of labor and 20 minutes of pushing later and I finally had my baby girl!! I got so lucky it was a quick delivery but the amount of tears I got was unlucky! Recovery is a process but my sweet girl is so worth it! 12/27/2016, 7lbs 6oz, 20.5in 😍😍
