I have PCOS and I just recently started "officially" ttc. By that I mean I found a new OBGYN willing to help me get pregnant. I haven't been on bc for years because I never felt it was necessary because I hardly have a period. I started taking metformin again in November and have had 2 periods so far! (W/o meds I have about 2/yr) I am taking prenatal pills and folic acid as well as suggested by my dr. She wants me to go back to her in 3-4 months to start clomid granted I'm not already pregnant. Can anyone explain what to expect when taking clomid? How often do you take it, how often will I need to see my dr?
