whats the difference between waldorf schools and normal schools?

whats the difference between waldorf schools and normal schools? I've heard waldorf schools are more like for music and art and stuff but do they end up just as good as kids that go to normal schools?

They have a very different learning model. And, yes, these students can be highly successful.

Higher value on physical tasks (such as knitting, crafting, gardening)

They delay learning instruments, in my opinion. They prefer that students wait until grade 4 or 5 even if seeking lessons outside of school. As a violin teacher (Suzuki method), that feels late.

I've subbed for music lessons at these schools. Kids are happy, but it's not for every family.
