I'm so confused...

So I'm really unsure what to think. I'm currently 5 weeks pregnant. When I got my positive HPT, I didn't think anything of it. But now I wonder if I'm farther along then I think I am? I alwayssss have long heavy periods. But my last period in November was only for 3 days and it spotted the whole time. So was it really a period? I got my first positive pregnancy test 8 days before my missed period and I only took one because I was super crampy and was constantly feeing sick. I'm sick everyday and my back and feet are already starting to hurt. But my doctor refuses to see me until I'm 11 weeks and they will not give me a growth scan to see how far along I am. What do you all think is happening? Is it all in my head ? Or do you think I'm farther along than 5 weeks?
