Marley for a boy...?

I really like the name Marley for a boy however my husband thinks it is only okay for a girl. I have done some research and everything I see says it is considered a unisex name. What do you all think? Yes or no for a boy?

I use to care for a boy named Marley and he was adorable! Also my pet lovebird is a boy and we call him Marley, so in my eyes it's a boy name !

I think of Jacob Marley from A Christmas Carol, and that makes me think of my dad. So I like it lol. But it sounds kind of young. Like I see a boy being called Marley but not a man.

When I hear the name Marley I always think of Bob Marley so it automatically makes me think of a boy. I know that was his last name but still. I associate Marley with a male.
