So I work at a museum as a gift shop clerk, obviously not the best job in the world, but I enjoy it. I don't enjoy that my one other coworker is the favorite and gets whatever the fuck she wants when she wants it! Some back story for ya. I started in April, right after my little sister passed away, I was ecstatic for the job! I started with 3 other people. 1 was fired, the other quit, and our manager retired and another co-worker that was a boss retired. It was me and this other girl for a long time. They hired a new manager and I love her, she is awesome, but I don't think she likes me too much. Well they also hired another girl, but she just left because her college semester is over and she moved home. It's now me and this other girl again. This other girls other job just started giving her way more hours, so I am pretty much the only one that works right now. Well, this other girl just barley got back from taking a 2 week vacation in Hawaii. I worked every day, full days, great, I love the money! But I asked for 1 day off to go to my family Christmas party this weekend and they said no because this other was going to be gone again and they wouldn't say where, well turns out, she is having a good old time getting smashed in fucking Wendover!!! Why the hell does she get all the time off to go party and I can't have 1 day with my family!! I worked the day before Christmas and the day after. I do the same thing for new years but I can't have 1 fucking day! You can plainly see who the favorite is here!! I'm infuriated!! I'm quiting as soon as I find a second job!!
