Negative pregnancy test after D&C?

Just wondering my how soon people have been getting negative pregnancy tests after D&C/miscarriage. I'd like to start tracking my ovulation asap but I know my hormones will likely be messed up for a little while.

It takes at least one full cycle. Your body won't get pregnant until the HCG level is at zero. I only know this because we are doing IVF. We miscarried with our first frozen embryo. I had the D&C on 10/31 at 7 weeks of pregnancy. I didn't get my first period until the first week of December. I'm on schedule for our next frozen embryo transfer at the end of January. I hope this helps!
