ultrasound at 6 weeks?

I am paying $25 for an elective ultrasound to check for the heartbeat when I am 6 weeks because I just need to know that the baby is okay so i can stop worrying. I scheduled it for the day I will be exactly 6 weeks. Did anyone see the heartbeat this early or should i push it back a few days to like 6w3d? I will be disappointed if i dont see a heartbeat but im also suuuper impatient. any input/advice?

Sometimes you can see it sometimes you can't that's why drs like to wait until you are at least 8 weeks.

I had an emergency ultrasound at 5 weeks 4 days and it was too early to hear the heartbeat or really see much... my next ultrasound was 6 weeks 5 days and we saw the baby and heard the heartbeat!

Does the elective ultrasound clinic do transvaginal? Because that early, you'll likely need one done internally. I had my first appointment at 6 weeks and all there was was a yolk sac. No baby or heartbeat yet. When we went back at 9 weeks there was a baby and a heartbeat. Just go into it with low expectations so that way your not super disappointed if you don't see anything. At 6w2d the hb was 114bpm through a transvaginal US for my baby.
