Hair curling help!!

I am so bad at curling my own hair. I can't do it 😂 I've used a traditional curling iron, the Tyme iron (omfg I CANT), and that curling machine that sucks your hair up and curls it (scary af). Can anyone recommend something easy that works? I have shoulder length hair if that helps.
