to test or not to test?!

I'm 8 dpo and due on on thurs 5th Jan. Is it too early to test?! I don't want to go out NYE drinking if I am but then don't want to tempt fate by testing too early! Driving myself nuts. Help! What would you do?! Xx

I'm in the exact same boat, 8dpo, AF due on the 5th. I'm doing my best to hold off until next week. Yes, you COULD get a vvvvfl but the odds are that you won't.  It's hard though!

I think you can test but don't take a negative as the honest answer. Personally I'm also not drinking and I'm due to test on the 14th but everyone has a different opinion.

You can test now if you want to see a negative. Sorry to be harsh, but more often than not, 8 DPO is way too early. Wait until at least 11, i would say.

Have you guys tested? I caved and tested yesterday, BFN. Thinking about testing again tomorrow but trying to wait.

I'm 8 dpo and af is due the 5th for me as well. I was impatient and took a test today and bfn. I'm planning to wait until Monday (or try to) before I test again. Fx and baby dust for everyone. Hoping that we all see our bfp soon!!
