bleeding + positive HPT
I am so confused and frustrated. In the past year, the hubby and I have experienced 2 miscarriages. One at 6 weeks and one at 10. My last miscarriage was in July and it took forever for my body to get back to its normal schedule. This month, I took a pregnancy test the day I was due for my period. Came back negative.
But then my period continued - currently on day 12! But since day 4 or 5 it's only been spotting and mostly when I go to the bathroom.
I contacted my doctor yesterday and they wanted me to take a HPT. It came back positive! I'd love to be excited but I'm so confused. Went to get blood work done - HCG was 200. Progesterone was low - has been in the past - but I had stopped taking my provera when I got my period! Now back on it and going for more blood work tomorrow to see what way the HCG is going. Could be miscarriage again or early pregnancy.
Has anyone else ever experienced something similar? Key dates:
Nov 27 to Dec 2 had my period
Period began December 20
Lasted 5 days and then spotting began
Still spotting with extremely mild cramping
