Cramps on the pill?

I started the pill about 10 days ago, and I've had minor off/on cramps for about a week. I was supposed to start my period today but because of the BC it probably stopped that from happening. Why could I be having these cramps?

Just your body adjusting to the hormones in the pill. Happened to me! Wait a month after your period and if you get the cramps, go to the doctor. I read on the packaging on my birth control that it may have that small effect at first. Hope I helped you a little bit!
