Anyone having a glass of wine or champagne tonight or even half a glass?

Question

Anyone indulging in a glass of champagne or wine tonight for new years? No one knows I am pregnant so I am going to babysit one glass the whole night and take baby sips and spill out some throughout the night. Anyone else allowing themselves to have one or half a glass?

Nope. I refuse to drink alcohol while pregnant, no one knows I'm pregnant so on Christmas the boyfriend and I emptied out a couple beer bottles and put apple juice in them so it looked like I was drinking.

Sparkling cider for me tonight! It's my last pregnancy so I'm just using the perspective of all the rest of my life I'll be able to drink. It's just 10 months and more if you nurse... not worth the risk in my opinion

One glass of low content alcohol won't hurt a thing at this stage of pregnancy.  I even verified it with navy med so I could have one glass of champagne to toast the new year.  The nurses words were "I'm not telling you to do it, but no one, including your baby, will be able to tell if you did."

So nurse one glass of low alcohol and enjoy your night. 
If you feel uneasy about it, there are plenty of non alcoholic sparkling drinks to enjoy!

No wine or champagne for me. I bargained with myself during my 15 months of trying that if only I got pregnant, I wouldn't step a toe out of line. And I won't. Not even one sip for me.

There's no need to drink. It's nobody's business if they ask why you aren't drinking. Say you haven't been feeling well, or you just don't fancy it. 
Baby's health is more important, particularly during the first trimester.

I did ginger ale in a champagne glass for the toast! Looks the same and tastes great to me (bonus--it helps with the nausea too!)

Do you notice how everyone is saying they don't "think" it will hurt anything? Why would you risk it? Get a alcohol free wine and pour it in your glass without anyone looking.

Nooooooo. I'm in bed with hubby now. No drinking needed. Not staying up for the ball to drop, lol.
