anyone here use Metformin for conception?

Anyone here ever use or are currently using metformin to conceive? What're your experiences? My OB is having me try it because I am ovulating too late in my cycle for my uterus to implant a fertilized egg. I'm going to be on it for 2 months and if it hasn't regulated when I ovulate, I'll be on clomid.

How long has it taken you to get pregnant using metformin? Did it work for you?

I was put on Metformin because I have PCOS. I was on it for a year. I started at 1,000mg a day and at the end I was taking 2,000mg a day. When I started taking it I would have an upset tummy for about 3 days and then I would feel great! After it helped regulate me I got pregnant! I never had to use Clomid.

Question.. how late in your cycle are you ovulating? Are you having a short luteal phase? My doctor suggested that could be my deal but I O on cd 18/19 and have a 31 day cycle. I feel like t is on the longer side of normal but still normal. Just want to have something else to compare mine too.

I personally haven't but I've heard of people who conceived with it 😊
