No one on my side or my husbands side of the family has ever breastfed. That being said, my MIL does pace feed & listen to me when I tell her info about breastfeeding (for the most part) but today she was going on about when my LO turns 9 moths that he'll be getting cows milk & she thinks I'm being dangerous with wanting to do LED weening. She had also asked me how long I plan on BF for & when I told her 12 months.. she paused for a long time & started to tell me that once my LO has teeth that I will change my mind. You hear stories about MIL not supporting & going against a mother's wish... & it's a horrible when you HAVE to play nice & just laugh & smile when you're being told all of these things. Last I checked, this is mine & my husbands baby.
