Does having a cyst rupture mean I ovulated?

Hey all!

I've been on fertility meds (I tried Clomid and I'm now on Femara) for about 8 months now. I have PCOS and haven't ovulated in any of the previous months taking the meds. I did not take daily ovulation tests this month since my dr does monthly progesterone tests. Yesterday (CD29), I had a cyst rupture and was extremely painful.

Does it rupturing mean that I actually ovulated this month? or could I have a cyst rupture and still not ovulate? Is it rupturing so late in my cycle normal?

Sorry for so many questions! Any advice is helpful! I plan on calling my dr as soon as they open but was just curious if anyone had any advice since that's 2 days away! Lol
