Please help! Am I alone??

My husband is soon 29. Im 25. We've been together 6 years and married for 6months.

Ive wanted a baby for a long time but knew I wanted to be married first (not that I'm very religious).

We've talked about children and he wants 4!! But when it comes down to it and we agree to start trying he gets scared and has doubts (and even pulls out). I dont want to force him into anything, I dont know what to do. His doubts are making me question it and are upsetting.

Please any advice!!
