did anyone with pcos not ovulate on chlomid but ovulate on the one that start with an L ?

I went thru 4 rounds of clomid and didn't ovulate on a single one. My OBGYN told me that some ladies with pcos don't ovulate on clomid but will ovulate on the one that starts with an L (sorry don't have bottle in front of me). I just wanna know if I'm wasting my time again. I believe the medication is letrozol or something like that but I could be wrong. Just really praying I at least ovulate. 😕

I never tried Clomid only letrozol and it worked for me first found

6 round of clomid with never ovulating.
2 rounds ofletrazol and the second worked at 5mg and a trigger shot. Clomid my follicles never got past 10mm and letrazol I had a 19 & 21 mm 😊

Dear it can happen. I ovulated with clomid, every round's but nothing happened "very disappointed" but apparently our body respond differently with different meds

I didn't ovulate on clomid, but I did on injectable (follistim and gonal f)

Yes. I did not respond to the clomid after the first month but I have ovulated with the letrozole every cycle I've taken it. It does make me ovulate late though, around CD 20-25.

To answer your question, yes. For me Letrozole worked much better than Clomid, had to get the dosage upped from 2.5 to 5mg though. Clomid gave me hell with depression and mood swings too.
