Our little one finally decided after 36 hours of labor that she wasn't going to come out vaginally. The C-Section was a hard concept for me to wrap my mind around but in the end it was the best possible scenario for both of us. My husband was such a trooper through it all and held my hand the whole time (it certainly isn't a picnic). The moment I heard her crying the pain completely disappeared. It sounds crazy but once you go through it that's the only way to describe it. Our baby girl Lily Sue just wanted to share a birthday with her mommy. December 30th at 7:23pm our lives changed forever.
