How long before telling immediate family?

If you find out pretty early, how long should you wait before announcing the big news to you and your SO's parents?

We didn't tell a soul with our first daughter until 13 weeks, parents included and we didn't tell at all with this daughter until 16.5 weeks. We don't like the fuss, especially from parents!

we were going to wait until 12 weeks to tell our parents and close friends and i'm glad we didn't as i misscarriaged at 6 weeks, the next time i get pregnant i won't be telling a soul apart from our parents until at least 12 weeks, in too scared now incase the worst happens again xx

When I got pregnant last year, everyone knew. We did lose the baby unfortunately. Now we have been ttc for almost a year and if it happens my plan is to let my mom and husband know immediately. As far as family, siblings and his family, I'm stuck between waiting until we hear a heartbeat or not telling anyone and letting them find out on their own.

I didn't tell everyone immediately, but I let our close family (parents and our siblings) know immediately. I knew that if we had a miscarriage I would want them to know. My family could be a big support during a difficult time like that.

We wanted to wait until I was 12 weeks. I'm 4. We have told my mom my Nan and my mil. That is it until I'm further along. Only immediate family are aloud to know this early. I told everyone when I was 7 weeks with #1 so trying to keep it away from friends for as long as posisble
