I was just diagnosed with pcos in November. I went to the doctor due to bleeding nonstop for three months. I finally stopped November 28. No period through the month of December. Went for an ultrasound and have a fancy string of pearls in my ovaries on both sides but both measure normally. My doctor told me to take norethindrone for 10 days and then to stop which will hopefully force a period. I also started on metformin at 500mg for a week and then 1000 after that. When I do hopefully start bleeding, I am to start clomid on days 5-9 at 100mg a day.
