BY you taking him back after cheating it validates the bahavior it say it's ok I will forgive you if you do and still stay with you. You allow the behavior. Do not take him back. He's just going to do it again because he knows you will take him back. He knows  You don't want to be alone and can get away with murder. He does not deserve another chance. Your trust has been broken. If you don't trust someone you have no reason to be with him.

An ex had. Forgave him..a lot. He continued doing it, I continued forgiving, until my oldest brother had a very serious very loud talk with me lol

My ex cheated on me with one of my pretty good friends at the time,  but I didn't know about it until 2 years later (3 months ago) .  I wasn't mad,  since I am now in the best relationship of my life,  but I was embarrassed and felt stupid.

My SO used to be an alcoholic... he would drink until he blacked out, then message his ex girfriends on Facebook, saying how much he would love to have them in his bed and so on.... I know he never did anything physical with anyone, and he only talked to these girls (women, I should say) when he was drunk off his ass.  I confronted him about it when I found the messages (I unfriened those women and blocked them from his Facebook, too.) After I talked to him, he quite drinking entirely. It's been over three years now. I still feel pinpricks of hurt, but I trust him and I love him with all my soul. ....I don't know if I could have handled staying with him if he had ever done anything physical, though

I did with my ex...he cheated on me before we got married but I forgave him then we got married and had a kid...found out he was cheating on me the whole time we were together. ..12 years! So lesson learned never again

I did once and regretted deeply later when I ended up ending it and all the time, insecurity and heartache I went through for someone who didn't value and respected me. I say, run for the hills and find a good, faithful man who truly loves you.
