Little Water?

Anyone else give baby a little water? He has his "witching hour" every night between 5-7 and a little water seems to calm him :) anyone else experience this? Then we get this face 😍 He's 7 weeks💙

I do with my 10 week old but just for hiccups. I asked the pediatrician and he said it was a good idea. She takes less than a half ounce of warm water. She is ebf and strains to go. The water helps a little with that too. She also gets fussy starting around 6 pm. She is typically in bed between 8-9. She eats almost every hour starting at 6 till bed. I think she is just gearing up for her long sleep. She sometimes sleeps 8 hrs straight! Good luck with your little one! Every baby is different, listen to your instincts and pediatrician!

Didn't know I could but my dad said back in the day moms used to give babies a little oregano tea to soothe their bellies. This makes sense

No but we use gripe water sometimes.

No, I don't give my baby water. You're not supposed to give them water because it keeps them from absorbing nutrients from breast milk and formula. They also choke on it sometimes. Hahaha witching hour! Have you tried infant massage?
