fever of 100.2 post c section?

I had a c section 15 days ago and I'm now very sore in my back and tender in my stomach and I'm running a fever of 100.2 with shivers, at what point should I call the doctor?

Call now. Technically yes it's 'not a fever' but if your body temperature is normally 98.6 then a temp of or above 100* is cause for concern especially with new symptoms of pain. At the very least you'll be reassured and the very worst you'll be asked to be seen by a doctor to rule out any infection. I wouldn't wait until tomorrow, this is why doctors are on call 24/7.

I'd call. Mine was around 101 with crazy shivers and feeling awful - it was a uterine infection.

Thanks for all the insight ladies, I called she said I could go to the ER or wait to see if my fever breaks overnight and if not go to urgent care in the morning. I am so thankful for my husband who told me to pump a few bottles and he would stay out in th living room with baby so I could rest. Now if only I could get comfortable to sleep.

That's not a fever. It's not a fever until 100.8.

But keep an eye on your temp, take Tylenol, and you may just be getting a cold. But keep checking every hour.
