Depo shot??

Question

I've never been on birth control and now that I'm a mom of 2 I wanna get on some birth control. I was thinking depo because 1 I won't remember the pill and I don't want anything up in my body. Would you get the depo? If not why?

I'd check out nuvaring. I love it. It goes in your body but only for a short period of time. Not sure if that still bothers you but it's the best birth control I've ever used and I've been on a bunch.

Had it, regret it. From my understanding of it it's basically the harshest on your body of all the options. I'd suggest Depo only as a last resort. There are a few other options that aren't long-term inserts like the patch or NuvaRing, but you should do some research and talk to your doctor before deciding. Best of luck!

I've only been on depo since Nov. 2nd and I hate it. I've been bleeding for 33 days straight and the worst cramps. I've also gotten bad migraines and neck pain. It's different for everybody but personally it hasn't worked for me other than keeping me baby free lol. I'm switching back to pills at my next appointment though!

I used depo and it gave me a lot of health issues. Heart palpitations, blood clots, liver issues. I wouldn't recommend it
